On Tuersday, March 24, 2015, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church Canadian Diocese paid a visit to Archbishop Christian Lépine, Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church of Montreal.
During the meeting, Archbishop Lépine and Bishop Hovakimian exchanged their views concerning the history and current situation of the respective religious communities and discussed various possibilities of cooperation on spiritual, ecumenical and youth issues.
His Eminence Archbishop Lépine confirmed his participation in the Ecumenical Prayer on April 20, 2015 in the St. Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
His Grace Bishop Hovakimian invited Archbishop Lépine to visit St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Cathedral of Montreal.
