On Saturday, September 29, 2012 Armenian Christian Youth Movement (ACYM) under the auspices of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Canada organized the celebration of the 21st Anniversary of the Independence of Armenia.
Some eighty Canadian Armenians came together to make that occasion memorable. Members of ACYM prepared a short documentary featuring the era before independence of September 21, 1991, which also included the developments in the following years.
During this occasion, Primate Galstanian shared his thoughts and memories. A brief musical recital performed by Arman Abrahamyan and Artur Markosyan, followed Srpazna’s message. The evening was filled with joy and authentic spirit of Armenia through song, dance and traditional Armenian music. We thank all the participants and organizers of this event.
