Our community consists of approximately seventy families, some of them dating back to early to mid-seventies.  The Parish is Saint Narek Armenian Church of Edmonton, is part of the Diocese of Holy Armenian Church of Canada.

The Primate, Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, visits Edmonton several times a year to celebrate Holy Divine Liturgy for Christmas, Easter and other occasions.

The St. Narek community in Edmonton organizes many community gatherings and commemorations, including; observance of the Armenian Genocide, Independence Day of Armenia, annual picnics and other gatherings to strengthen the community spirit. We recently established an Armenian school for our children which takes place every Saturday from, 12.30 – 2.30 pm.

Our purpose is to create and foster a sense of close knit community, with the primary objective of promoting our historical, cultural, spiritual, moral, social and family values and conveying them to our children and the young generation.
