Beloved Faithful

I am writing to inform you about an exciting and challenging new chapter for our Diocese. This year the Diocese is launching the first Annual Primate’s Appeal starting September 16, 2004. Through support of the appeal, we participate in many good works that would be impossible for us to initiate individually.

Every hand in the Diocese of Canada is important, because God has given each person certain unique gifts to be spreading God’s Kingdom on earth. If these gifts are not shared, this mission of the Church cannot be advanced.

WHEN SHARED TOGETHER, WE CAN SUCCEED

Your generous gift to the Primate’s Annual Appeal will benefit many programs and key initiatives in our Community.

Youth Ministry

• To help draw Children, teens and young adults into the life of our Armenian Schools and Armenian Church Youth Organization that will satisfy the spiritual and educational needs of our youth, preparing them for leadership and service.

• The successful launch of the Diocesan Junior Choir program will continue to thrive.

• The expansion and building of our Diocesan Summer Camp for the children of our Communities is imperative.

Outreach Ministry

• The Diocese is reaching out to support new and existing communities from the East Coast to the West Coast of Canada for various developments.

Ecumenical, Interfaith Relations

• Promoting greater understanding of the Armenian Church, culture and issues through its interaction with interfaith organizations.

Communications

• A new website for the Primate’s Annual Appeal will be launched which will keep you informed of the progress of our programs.

To accomplish these initiatives I am appealing to you personally for your full support and participation. May your gift to the Primate’s Annual Appeal reflect your love for one another. I will steward your gift so that the projects listed can benefit and flourish.

With love and prayer,
